Summary on Grant Application Form
Initially, the visiting fellow will, in collaboration with Prof. Gabbay and Dr. Fisher, study and discuss the basic METATEM and GOLOG frameworks, with a view to identify potential cross-fertilisation. As both frameworks are quite complex, we expect this to take approximately one month. In the second month, the concurrent versions of these languages will then be considered, focusing particularly on multi-agent aspects. This will then lead on to a consideration of the strengths and weaknesses of both approaches, and proposals regarding their improvements.
