Summary on Grant Application Form
We shall analyze 2D boundary value problems of anisotropic elasticity that can be reduced to a pair of uncoupled conductivity problems, and we shall study the correspondence between different pairs of conductivity formulations. It is also proposed to develop a variational formulation for electric conductivity problems for heterogeneous materials with a lengthscale effect. The Hashin-Shtrikman type bounds for the overall electric behaviour shall be derived. They will explicitly involve two-point correlation functions and will display the scale effect in the overall behaviour.
