|
Simple constitutive models will be developed for the mechanical behaviour of oxide/oxide ceramic matrix composites. Initial studies will be undertaken to evaluate the performance of some simple structural configurations subjected to cyclic thermo-mechanical loading histories. The result of these studies will be used to develop a programme of experiments which will be conducted by a research student at Leicester over the following year.
