Summary on Grant Application Form
A wide-ranging study will be made involving synthesis and characterisation of new types of phosphorus-containing organometallic compounds using metal vapour synthesis and more conventional synthetic techniques. Prof. Cloke and Prof. Nixon have pioneered this rapidly expanding area and wish to develop a number of exciting topics so we can remain at the forefront of this area of inorganic/organometallic chemistry.
