Summary on Grant Application Form
The proposal aims to develop the fundamentals of a process for the removal of toxic metals and possibly organic chemicals from contaminated land by combining microbial/biochemical and electrokinetic ( electrically-induced directional movements) techniques into an integrated, simple and cost-effective system. Currently there are no commercially available for remediate in metal and organic contaminated land, which is a major environmental problem.
