Summary on Grant Application Form
This project will benefit from substantial direct support from Lloyds-TSB Bank plc and SearchSpace Ltd. Lloyds-TSB will provide all data used for the systems evaluation and provide management time (costed at 25K) for support in the specification and testing of the fraud detection tool and in the final evaluation of the results. The fraud detection system will be evaluated in the area of general insurance (household and motor) fraud detection. Lloyds-TSB has also expressed a strong interest in using the fuzzy-genetic tool in another area of application, that of mortgage evaluation. SearchSpace the leading UK supplier of automated fraud detection tools will contribute to the design of the underlying algorithms and to the design of the tools.
