The aim of the proposed visit is to enable an internationally known expert in commute vision to pursue research at Heriot-Watt. The research will concentrate on advanced applications of computer vision techniques to the guidance and control of autonomous and remotely operated underwater vehicle (AUV/ROV), an application in which the Proposer's department is particularly active.
