Summary on Grant Application Form
This application is for support to enable four key researchers to lead the 16th Leeds Annual Statistics Research Workshop in July, 1996 and to initiate collaboration on multi-scale analysis. The researchers' broad knowledge will bring a wider flavour to the work currently funded here at Leeds under various schemes. The general areas for collaboration are scale-space methods, ridge curves and hierarchical deformable templates. These topics are of direct relevance to our EPSRC SMTS project. In particular we aim to collaborate on multiscale approaches to ridge curves and using deformation theory to select potential in scale-space theory.
