The project will research the potential for enhancing the effectiveness of construction projects by improving communication between the parties involved. To this end the work will evaluate a number of technologies and approaches for information sharing and problem structuring. The results of the project are intended to improve the competitiveness of the construction industry as well as to add value to their clients' construction investments. Thus the focus of the study is on the early stages of the construction process, characterized by strong client/client advisor/contractor interaction, and based on long-term relationships that transcend any one project.
