Summary on Grant Application Form
To establish a new formation to substantially reduce the significant computational effort presently associated with integral equation techniques for solving high frequency electromagnetic coupling EMC. The formulation will be on a study of the breakdown of large structures into near field and far-field sections.Based on the new formulation a working code will be developed under the framework software SLIM (provided by GEC Alsthom Engineering Research Centre (ERD)). In conjunction with GED Alsthom ERC the working code will be assessed for its capabilities in modelling the rear engineering problems of EMC. Such a CAD tool will be important to industry for designing for EMC.
