Summary on Grant Application Form
We intend to develop the use of analytical HPLC for the routine analysis of organic reactions carried out on resins. Automated cleavage of resin-bound samples, using the autosampling system will be investigated. The HPLC photodiode-array detector ad 3-D spectral analysis capacity will be utilised to investigate the scope for analytically resolving the individual components of compound libraries (as mixtures). The highly sensitive fluorescence HPLC detector will be exploited to develop novel encoding strategies that employ fluorescent tag molecules.
