Summary on Grant Application Form
New methods for the synthesis and reactions of hetercycles are proposed. The methods are based around the use of indium (and other methods) in the reductive coupling of heterocycles to give, after reoxidation, bipyridines, biquinolines etc.., and in allylmetal additions to give functionalised heterocycles.
