Summary on Grant Application Form
The aim of the proposal is to investigate the possiblity of replacing the elementary reduction step in the cyclic CO2 reduction sequence (Calvin cycle) by an electrochemical process coupled to enzymatic phosphorylation. In this way, very fast rates of CO2 fixation to yield useful products could be achieved.
