Summary on Grant Application Form
The purpose of this project is to use the theory of generic dynamical systems with invariant subspaces to describe and predict synchronisation and associated spatio-temporally intermittent phenomena in physical systems. The study will involve development of chaos theory and bifurcation theory for chaotic attractors in invariant subspaces, time-series analysis of systems with invariant subspaces and be a pilot application to a technologically interesting physical problem.
