Summary on Grant Application Form
It is proposed to study molecular photoionization dynamics by the method of two colour resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization combined with angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. Only recently has such a method been pioneered for the study of molecular photoionization dynamics and it is proposed to apply this method to a number of new systems using an existing photo-electron chamber and a laser system requested in this proposal. With this set up it will also be possible to study intramolecular depolarization mechnaisms and photofragmentation processes.
