Summary on Grant Application Form
The Rope Research group at Reading is in the process of establishing an industrial funding consortium which will support a group of specific projects on the degradation mechanisms and related fatigue behaviour of rope. This proposal presents the case for support for the academic co-ordination of the programme, the completion of limited experimental work to link with other investigations and applications, and the efficient dissemination of the results of the work.
