Summary on Grant Application Form
The work provides a structured study of three-dimensional high speed compressible separated flow. The study will integrate CFD and experiment closely, including at the initial design stage of assessing candidate configurations. A range of three-dimensional separations will be provided, as increasingly severe perturbations from a basic two-dimensional case. Both laminar and turbulent studies will be made.
