Summary on Grant Application Form
This proposal seeks to develop and apply econometric input-output modelling augmented by industry-specific emission coefficients to give a comprehensive analysis of intermediate and final emission effects for the Cardiff sub-region. This ECO-model will provide data inputs to a scenario-framing and analysis exercise involving a user-group drawn from business and government. ECO-model and scenario results will be applied to the policy-issue of the sustainability effects of increased remote working and shopping activities upon the city-region arising from the more widespread use of modern technologies.
