Summary on Grant Application Form
This project is designed to synthesis and fully characterise the properties of stereoregular poly (vinyl alcohol). This highly important polymer has only ever been produced industrially as a random material. The stereoregular isomer offers much enhanced performance at a very low cost if an economical process can be developed.
