Panel History:
Summary on Grant Application Form
Optical investigations of a variety of low dimensional electron systems, comprising: 1) a study of the fractional quantum Hall and electron solid regimes using polarised and unpolarised photoluminescence, photoluminescence excitation and photoconductivity techniques. 2) a study of the optical properties of 1-dimensional and O-dimensional electron systems in high magnetic fields, including an investigation of the extreme magnetic quantum limit in such structures.
