The Research Associate will perform under the supervision of the applicant measurements of the gas density/temperature first in a constant-volume combustion chamber and then in a single-cylinder spark-ignition engine fuelled by petrol and equipped with the required optical access for the application of the laser-induced Rayleigh scattering technique.
