Summary on Grant Application Form
To add electrochemical techniques to our studies of intermediates and excited states using fast time-resolved infrared spectroscopy. This will enable us to:1. Unravel the mechanisms of some important catalytic cycles, particularly CO2 reduction.2. Study the photochemistry of reduced/oxidised species.3. Determine charge distribution in the excited states of some transition states of some transition metal complexes.
