Summary on Grant Application Form
1. To measure reaction-product rotational alignment together with product scattering angle as a highly sensitive probe of reaction potential energy surfaces and their anisotropy. 2. To measure photofragment rotational orientation and alignment in conjunction with fragment recoil direction to determine directly photolysis transition-matrix elements. 3. To combine the above objectives with state selection of reagents.4. To align reagents by laser excitation.
