Summary on Grant Application Form
Using positron emission particle tracking the applicants are in a unique position to observe the behaviour of particles in fluidised beds directly and to put models for the phenomena listed above on a firm physical basis. No other method can track a tracer particle which is compatible with the bulk material of interest at this level of resolution over these dimensions of processing device and at these velocities.
