We shall make first principles total energy calculations using a fully relativistic LMTO code and allowing for spin polarisation. The materials to be investigated will be UPd2A13 ThCo5 and UBe13.We shall perform calculations for the non magnetic state and also for a spin polarised state (in a magnetic field). We shall calculate the moment change at the metamagnetic transition, the magnetic anisotropy energy and where possible the field for the metamagnetic transition. In addition we shall calculate the Fermi surface cross-sections in the polarised and unpolarised states.The calculations will be performed on the CRAY. The programme follows our successful calculation of UPt3 in which we calculated the above quantities. The results will be compared with experiments.
