Summary on Grant Application Form
The short term visitor programme has proved to be one of the most valuable and cost effective features of the Oxford Rolling Grant support. We have been able to use it and would continue to use it for: continuing and extending collaborations setting up new channels of communication and developing new collaborations inviting eminent scientists to visit for a few days, sufficient for significant stimulation. This feature is of considerable benefit both to Oxford and to the British physics community as a whole generally maintain and augment the vitality of our research programme.
