To determine methods for the stable and reliable conversion between the power and Bernstein polynomial bases for univariate and bivariate polynomials. This work includes rigorous analytical theory and its computational verification. To investigate the use of different types of resultants for solving geometric problems in solid modellers with particular reference to their computational implementation.
