To develop an Implementation Methodology for Concurrent Engineering (CE) based on CE Implementation Best Practice. This will be achieved by: Analysing world-wide CE Implementation Best Practice and proving that investment in identified key managerial and organisational success factors leads to improved CE implementation.Developing a workbook-style methodology that companies can use to increase the benefits generated by CE, while reducing CE implementation costs, risks and time.Testing the methodology in practice and showing its benefits.
