To provide central computing facilities (file server, disks, backup facilities, printer and programmer's workstation) for research projects to be carried out by the Nonlinear Systems Laboratory. These projects cover a wide range of nonlinear systems including renormalisation, spatio-temporal dynamics, spatio-temporal chaos, evolution, ecological dynamics, data analysis, Hamiltonian dynamics, symmetric dynamics, Bayesian theory, computer algebra, symmetric chaos and coupled escillators.
