Summary on Grant Application Form
The main objective of the project is to develop an analogue computer system based on switched capacitor circuits. To develop sc building blocks to simulate linear and nonlinear circuit elements. To develop building blocks to simulate linear and nonlinear subsystems. To design the building blocks in VLSI form. To incorporate the design in a personal computer system. Progress:Achievements to date are: Building blocks have been designed and tested. Entire subsystems have been designed. MESFET circuits have been simulated using SW circuits. Nonlinear amplifiers and frequency multipliers have been simulated. Measurement techniques have been developed to characterise circuits and subsystems in the time domain. The problem of VLSI designing will be looked at towards the latter half of the project.
