Summary on Grant Application Form
To prepare new cationic metal complexes of ligands related to the organic molecular superconductor BEDT-TTF using electrocrystallisation techniques. To determine the stoicheiometry and structure of the new materials and to examine in detail their electrical conduction, magnetic and optical properties. To seek to correlate their properties with their structure and to use such correlations to guide the synthesis of improved materials.
