To extend previous investigation into new and reliable methods for automatic electronic enhancement of biomedical signals to the analysis and interpretation of the electrical activity of the brain, and to provide the basis for further research and subsequent design of a reliable commercially exploitable computer-based tool for the diagnosis and evaluation of brain abnormalities.
