1. Develop and evaluate parallel transcendental eigenvalue extraction theory, algorithms and portable test-bed software on a large, shared memory, parallel computer.2. Extend same to be portable to distributed memory parallel computers.3. Implement illustrative code on a small parallel computer to study feasibility of converting existing design office transcendental eigenvalue software, e.g. for buckling, plate structure to run on such computers.
