Summary on Grant Application Form
Prediction of thermodynamic properties of refrigerant mixtures, and of their behaviour in vapour compression systems, from sparse data. Utilisation of the unique properties of azotropic mixtures of HFCs and other refrigerants, to obtain efficiency improvements in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumping systems. Automatic regulation of working fluid composition to give maximum cycle efficiency.
