Summary on Grant Application Form
It is proposed to use both computational and tomographic techniques interactively to undertake a comparative study of the slow shearing flows of granular materials as occurs in storage and discharge equipment. Particular emphasis will be placed on modelling quasi-static flows and the effects of interstitial fluid.
