Extension of basic HTS PLD and patterning equipment to allow multilayer fabrication and processing. Investigation of selected Josephson junction materials and structures. Integration of junctions and flux transformer circuits into SQUID gradiometers. Demonstration of integral SQUID gradiometers in existing NDE and biomagnetic facilities.
