To develop processes to support company management teams in the development of coherent and appropriate manufacturing strategies.To develop processes to support the design of relevant performance measurements systems which will address the business, operational and human aspects of performance.To develop guidelines covering the preferred elements and characteristics of processes.To develop techniques for improving methods of representing strategies and performance measures in order to improve visibility and accessibility.To provide a framework for future projects in particular areas of manufacturing e.g. control, new product introduction. (It is anticipated that this would be a widely applicable framework and not be restricted to Cambridge based projects).
