Summary on Grant Application Form
In connection with NMR imaging, to develop techniques for modelling irregular structures of material of slightly differing susceptibilities in three dimensions, so allowing the inverse solution of calculating susceptibility difference from sets of data of local field variations to be obtained. To verify the work by experiments involving the use of phantoms, materials contaminated with solutions containing paramagnetic nuclei, and patients in vivo.
