Use of acoustic emission to identify first-ply-cracking stresses in long fibre CMCs at temperatures up to 500C. Use of AE to characterise R-curve fracture characteristics in composite ceramics. A comparison of different techniques of interfacial property measurements in CMCs. Extension of test techniques used in (iii) to temperatures of 500C.
