Summary on Grant Application Form
To modify the mathematical model of a non-adiabatic multichannel monolith reactor developed at Bath University in 1988, in order to incorporate experimentally evaluated kinetics and heat and mass transfer coefficients, and to allow for the termal resistance of both the substrate and washcoat layer. To simulate experimental conditions for example, to explore the effect of hot spots that may occur as a result of fuel maldistribution.
