Summary on Grant Application Form |
The UK is committed to increasing the use of sustainable technologies in the built environment and improving public awareness of new developments in this area is key to this aim. The proposed project will use the recently constructed Sustainable Research Building at the University of Nottingham as a Life Lab to demonstrate various renewable and sustainable building technologies to the public. It will provide an opportunity for the public to gain handson experience of a range of alternative approaches to conventional building facilities and encourage uptake of new sustainable technologies for building applications.
