The conference aims both to review the current status of the fields in which David Olive has worked, and hear contributions on the latest developments. The planned programme will have about 15 one-hour and 12 half-hour talks and will consist of a mix of review lectures and contributions on new developments instring theory and SUSY gauge theory delivered by many of the leading international researchers in the field.
