Summary on Grant Application Form |
This project is designed to stimulate and maintain the interest of primary school children in the sciences, engineering and technology by use of a cross-curriculum module that integrates a series of nine storybooks (featuring a bionic cat) with interactive exercise books, an interactive website, hands-on science project kits, teacher training and assessment workshops and demonstrations at schools. Sixteen primary schools will participate in the first year pilot study and 30 in the second year.
