|
The network will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas in the areas of Networking, Broadcasting and Telecommunications, and their convergence. The network will consist of a select group of academics and industrialist from all three areas, mainly from the UK but also from abroad, with a strong link to a similar European Network (E-NET), who will contribute to the development of an agenda for convergence and facilitate the development of a resarch base in the related fields. The Network will form the steering group to the future PGNets, a set of yearly conferences for the training of young researchers in the UK, which has taken place every year since 2000.
