Summary on Grant Application Form
The main goal of the project is the development of hollow-core photonic crystal fibre with properties tailored to nonlinear optics applications and micro-sized objects laser-guidance. The project involves fabrication of HC-PCF and setting experiments for SRS generation and supercontinuum generation in gas-filled HC-PCF, along with pulse compression using HC-PCF within a framework of a collaboration of Stanford University and the university of Vienna. In addition, th project aims to establish first long-haul particle laser-guidance.
