Summary on Grant Application Form |
The application is for a small amount of money to support a one-week summer-school type event in Leicester in April 2003. It is envisaged that the summer-school will consist of 10-12 short lecture courses of seven hours each. These courses will be presented by researchers from the universities of Nottingham, Leicester and Birmingham, and will be open to research students from across the UK. The school is planned to take place immediately before the British Colloquium in Theoretical Computer Science which will also take place in Leicester. The three universities involved have successfully organised graduate training courses on an annual basis since 1999.
