Summary on Grant Application Form |
The proposed project is an International Workshop of Organisational Semiotics (OS) to be held in 11 - 12 July 2003 at Reading. This is part of the continuing effort of a research community over the past ten years towards developing a new scientific discipline of OS and disseminating the knowledge and experience gained so far in academic research and applications. The workshop will seek contributions of the world-leading experts in developing the new discipline. Specifically, we expect their input to our research in Systems Integration, a recent focused initiative of EPSRC, through reviewing and assessment of an EPSRC funded project Semiotic Enterprise Design for IT Applications (SEDITA) . A number of these experts showed great interest to contribute and collaborate even from the conception of the SEDDTA project. This will be one of the workshos the SEDITA project has planned to run but with an extra dimmenson in seeking international leading experts' input to the project and generating international impact of our work.
