Summary on Grant Application Form |
This research will extend the Xenoserver system that we have been developing in the Computer LAboratory, with a set of tools for managing collection: of resources in a trustworthy way. The scale of anticipated GRID deployments demands that we use automatic techniques to provide trustable platofrms. This will require unsupervised learning of characteristics of clients and servers, but also an underpinning of protection mechanisms that allow assurance of the local allocation with high certaintly. This project extends this stochastically over a set of such servers.
