Summary on Grant Application Form |
Diblock DMA-MPC copolymers are designed with careful consideration of minimal toxicity. Their molecular architectures are expected to lead to novel interfacial and bulk micellar aggregation that provides ideal molecular environment for DNA incorporation. We aim to explore the suitable molecular architecture that intelligently responds to solution conditions for DNA delivery. The project involves the combined investigation of the interfacial and bulk aggregation behaviour of the copolymers and their cytotoxicity to model cells.
