Summary on Grant Application Form |
The aims of the Course are to provide a basic training in the techniques of the Numerical Solution of Differential Equations and their industrial applications for graduates in mathematics or those with sufficient mathematical background, in order for them to become researchers immediately useful to industry. Industrial Modelling is an integral component of the Course. The Course benefits from the Department's many industrial contacts and its strength in numerical analysis, numerical solution of conservation laws, dynamics of discretisation, fluid dynamics and dynamical systems.
